How you got into wheelchair rugby? Seen it played loved the idea of smashing and crashing but wasnt until I heard about a club in Exeter that I could go

About me?

I suck as this but ill give it a go am qualified but retired nurse, and I specialised in Childrens nursing and then neonatal nursing so have a lot of experience, also volunteer for st johns as qualified nurse and many events so I can be a handy first aider as am use to complex things lol, did some student experience as a student nurse in prison which was tad scary but good to experience, also worked with resus team in Childrens hospital which dealt with many emergencies and supported staff where needed in hospitals, I'm also thrill seeker in sense I've gone off very high mountainand paraglided down, love things like that roller coasters u name it

Enjoy making cakes made quite a few cakes for events, which feel very privileged to do

Not sure I have one I like loads of music, I might be speech impaired but ill see me attempting to bob along to all sorts lol

Other sports played?

So I've played many sports mostly pre wheelchair life, athletics at national level, was only allowed to play rugby unofficially as I was to tough for the boys to handle lol 😆 plus I was in posh school so girls weren't allowed to play it meh , swimming county level, hockey, netball, archery, karate, got head hunted to go onto Olympic pathway as 15yr to do winter sports and athletics passed everything but the medical turns out dislocation and problems with discs in my spine so it was a no go but the camp away was awesome. Canoe, Had a go at sitting volleyball too

I'm pretty much game to give anything a try love sports
