Since starting at Hawks, Faye has gone on to bigger things. Previously she was our captain across both sides and captain of the all conquering 2023/24 Division One team. She is now a member of GB Elite and has taken part in internationals in Canada, Japan, across Europe. She is a European Silver Medalist, and still pops into our sessions, even if she now plays for Leicester Tigers.

How you got into wheelchair rugby? My friend from tennis suggested I give it a go and so I went to a taster session. I only watched and was very apprehensive but got convinced to go to a training session and I tried it and not stopped!
Favourite thing about wheelchair rugby? It was the first sport/ activity that made me sweat and make my heart race. I love the fast pace of the sport but also the community aspect that is around the sport.
Best moment playing wheelchair rugby? Playing my debut at Euros at 2022
